You will leave Funchal heading toward the heart of the Natural Park of the Island, crossing Poiso (1413 m.) and the Forest Park of Ribeiro Frio (880 m.). You will be able to admire rare species of plants, make a short walk, wonder at the marvellous landscape in Cruzinhas (600 m.), meet the luxurious forest in Pico das Pedras (900 m.) and watch the aggressive coast north of Santana on your return to Funchal. |

You will leave Funchal heading toward the fishing village of Câmara de Lobos, that once inspired Sir Winston Churchill in his paintings. You will admire the land where the grapes of our famous Madeira wines are grown, in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos (450 m.), marvel at the breathtaking scenery between Lugar da Serra (700 m.) and Trompica (1050 m.) before driving down to Ribeira Brava (80 m.), through narrow winding trails, on your return to Funchal.
